About Us
Who are we?
John Perkins and Joe Ashton setup Football Fever Academy in 2021 to provide opportunities for girls to play football. Our passion for girls football was sparked by coaching our daughters grassroots teams. This experience drove us to setup FFA. In 2023, we setup up Football Fever United, a girls only grassroots football club.
Across Football Fever we have a focus in safeguarding, adhering to FA polices and guidelines, ensuring girls play in a safe and inclusive environment.

Our Mission
We want to help grow the female game by providing fun, social and engaging football sessions for girls ages 2-18.
My daughter has always had a keen interest in football but until FFA, she hadn’t found a space that worked for her. Now I can’t stop her going. I am really grateful to the team bring her out of herself, the changes have been amazing to watch.
